Fentress County

Book Description:

Early days in Fentress County, TN, are recalled in this spiral bound booklet a reprint of the 1920 book: History of Fentress County Tennessee (World War Memorial Edition) by A.R. Hogue. The 166-page booklet, which includes an index, is printed on 8.5 x 11" 60# paper. A vinyl sheet has been added to protect the front cover. The booklet begins with a salute to World War I veterans, especially Alvin York, the most decorated soldier of the war, and recipient of the Medal of Honor.
