The tri-color cover is printed on 80# card stock and protected with a vinyl sheet. The text is printed on 8.5" x 11" 60# opaque paper. Among the many subjects included are: Topographical and Physical features, Native Americans, Pioneers and famous "firsts", the Copper Manitou, United States Land Entries, County Organization and Institutions, Political record, Financial Review, Road and Water Ways, Agricultural Interests, the Press, War Record, Human Fatalities, Silver and Copper Mines and Miners, Township Organization, the village of Ontonagon -- Religious Societies, Benevolent Societies, Hotels, Fire Dept., the Harbor, Commercial Statistics, Lumber Interests, etc. --, Rockland Township, Greenland Twp., Carp Lake Twp., and other interesting bits of history and trivia. In addition to the many names mentioned throughout the booklet, there are a number of biographies.
